Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Orange Circle Ghost Tours website at ocgt.boo (the “Site”) or booking a tour. By submitting a booking request, taking a tour, or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book a tour.
About the Tour
Orange Circle Ghost Tours is a guided, two-hour walking tour of about one mile through the historic Orange Plaza in Orange, California, hosted by our guide, Kathy Makabre. Tours are private to your group of one to nine guests, and each guest is loaned an EMF detector to use for the duration of the tour. The tour is offered for entertainment.
Bookings & Reservations
To book a tour, complete the form on our Site and pay the tour fee through Stripe, our payment processor. Your payment holds your reservation; Kathy will follow up to confirm your date and details. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking, in which case we will offer you a rescheduled date or a full refund.
Pricing & Payment
The tour costs $125 for two hours, whether your group has one guest or nine. Payment is collected at the time of booking through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. You enter your card details on Stripe’s secure checkout, not on our Site, and we never see or store your full card number. Prices are subject to change, but the price for a completed booking will be honored.
Cancellations & Refunds
You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour are not eligible for a refund. If we cancel a tour for any reason, we will offer you a rescheduled date or a full refund.
Weather
Tours run rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and bring an umbrella during inclement conditions.
Age Requirement
The tour is for guests 13 years of age and older. No one under 13 is permitted on the tour. If you are booking for a group, you confirm that every guest in your party is 13 or older, and the booking adult is responsible for any minors in the group.
Arrival & Meeting Point
Guests meet at the tables between Gabbi’s Restaurant and Antique Depot, 155 S. Glassell Street, Orange, CA 92866. Please allow time for parking and arrive a few minutes early, as the group leaves promptly at the scheduled start time.
Accessibility
The route follows public streets and sidewalks in the Orange Plaza and is accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. If you have specific accessibility questions, please ask when you book.
Conduct & Assumption of Risk
This is a walking tour conducted outdoors, at night, on public streets and sidewalks. By taking the tour, you acknowledge and accept the ordinary risks of walking outdoors after dark, including uneven surfaces, curbs, traffic, and weather. You agree to follow the guide’s instructions, stay with the group, watch your footing, and take responsibility for your own safety and that of any minors in your party. We may ask any guest who behaves unsafely or disruptively to leave the tour without a refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orange Circle Ghost Tours and its guide are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in a tour. Our total liability for any claim relating to a tour will not exceed the amount you paid for that tour. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under California law.
Nature of the Tour
The stories shared on the tour are drawn from local accounts, history, and folklore, and are presented for entertainment. We make no guarantee of any paranormal activity or experience, and the tour is not a scientific investigation.
Intellectual Property
The content of the Site, including text, graphics, original ornamentation, and the Orange Circle Ghost Tours name, belongs to Orange Circle Ghost Tours and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
Third-Party Links & Services
The Site may link to or load third-party services, such as an online map. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites and services.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site or booking of a tour after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or a tour will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
